Leveling Kit and Factory Warranty

I have a 2004 F150 XLT. I want to level it, but it still has the three year factory warranty. Does anyone know if a leveling kit will void the warranty?

I was told that it will only void the suspension and alignment part. I thought you always paid for your own alignment??!!!

It should not affect your warranty at all. As for alignments, Ford covers alignments for the first 12 months/12000 miles.

I just asked the same question. The leveling kit won't void the factory warranty on anything but the front suspension... and even that will only be the the parts you change/alter. If you installed a lift greater than that, you run the risk of voiding the warranty on othe components of the driveline... a prime example is the front and rear diffs depending on how much you change the pinion angle. At least this is what I have been told... the best bet is to talk to the warranty administrator where you bought your truck... that's who gave me the info.
