Post Suspension Lift: Easy Ways to Improve MPG and Power

I have a stock 2002 F150 4x4 with 4.6L engine that will be hooked up with a suspension lift and 35" tires in about 2 weeks. Once lifted, I am pretty sure my stock performance and especially MPG (miles per gallon) will suffer a bit from getting the 35's rolling down the road. My question is what are some performance tips to bring my trucks performance and MPG back in line as to what it was pre lift.

Thanks for the info...
