Question ES3000 or Monroe Reflex?

Hey guys:

I plan on replacing my crappy factory shocks tomorrow with either Pro Comp's ES3000 or Monroe Reflex. I don't do a lot of off-roading, but I do want a durable shock when I do go off road. I also hope the ES3000 would offer a smooth ride on the highway.

If I pick up the ES3000 from 4wheelparts tomorrow I will also get a front shock stabilizer.

Any thoughts?

I'd also like to throw in for consideration Rancho's RS5000

The 4 Wheel Parts deal with the free steering stabilizer is a good deal. I would go with them or the Ranchos.

Thanks wandell!

I think I will go with the ES because I heard it's a good idea to have the steering stabilizer if I plan on adding oversized tires. (Pro Comp's Xtreme 305/65/17's)

I am going to pick up the shocks in the morning and hope I don't get suckered into buying the tires as well!

Also, a little off the subject, buy I wanted to confirm that those tires will in fact fit comfortably. Do you suspect any trimming? Also, like I've talked to you before, I do plan on cranking the torsion bars, just wanted to know if it was necessary to fit the tires, or could I get them on there and crank at a later date? The only reason I ask is because I have a friend that can crank them vs. paying 4 wheel parts A LOT of money to do it. Thanks again.

You will probably have to crank up the torsion bars and trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance, depending on what size wheel you use. Don't forget to get an alignment if you adjust the torsion bars.
