Creaking front end
Creaking front end
Recently, I've been noticing a strange creaking noise coming from my front suspension. Under normal driving conditions everything is fine, but when I go over a bump that makes my suspension compress, I get a creaking noise coming from the front. It is especially apparent when going over speed bumps. I have 53k on the clock and I'm still on the stock shocks, so that may be an issue, but it doesn't sound like any shock noise I've heard before. Would a torsion bar make this type of noise? Any ideas?

If the ball joints do happen to be the issue, how difficult are they to replace? Is it best to take my truck to a dealer to fix them? How much $ am I looking at?
