body lift

I know there are a million threads about body lifts but i cant find this discussed anywhere. I have installed a body lift before and i had to notch out my floor board for my 4x4 shifter. The shifter on my scab is also on the floor. Am I gonna have to notch it out? Aslo on the regualr column shiffter do i have to get a section welded on to extend it? I had to do that on my last one. One last question. does the regular PA kit come with the rear bumper bracket or do i have to buy a seperate kit to raise the bumpers? sorry if these are repeated questions from old posts i jst couldnt find the answers. thanks.

I don't know about the floor mounted transfer case shifter as mine has the dash mounted ****. The 3 inch PA kit comes complete with a steering extension and front and rear bumper relocation brackets. The only thing extra you need to buy is a set of PA's Gap Guards.

I may be cheap....but instead of buying PA gap guards I went to Home Depot & bought basically the same thing & cut it to match. I have had the gap guards & this is basically the same thing! & it lasts just as long!

body lift / Transfer case shifter lever on floor

What we did works well, but requires a welder.

I had the 4wd shift lever cut in about half then welded in an extension piece for it. I think we had to slightly re-angle it to fit properly in the old floor hole, that's about it.
