The only Ford trucks that use coilovers are the 03-05 Expeditions and the 04-05 F-150's. A company called Rock Krawler Suspension's makes a coilover conversion for 97-03 F-150 4x4's and Chevy 4x4's.

Monroe makes a coilover shock for the rear of 97-03 F-150s. they have 1200lb load leveling coils and are sold in pairs. Part no. 58628. Also sold by Napa under their name with same part no.
Installed a pair on my 98 last year and tow a TT and love the difference.
