Angry Power Steering gearbox Leak

I have a slow leak in my power steering gearbox that is coming out of where the pitman arm goes in. I've been adding a litre of ATF everyday, just to get to work and back. I'm looking for a cheap fix on problem because I think that its just an O-ring thats not doing its job. Is there a seal kit I can get that will fix this problem? Then how hard is it to fix the gear box leak?

Why are you using transmission fluid for the power steering?

Or do you have two seperate problems?

Check with your local parts store. Most of the companies that sell P.S. hoses, also sell repair kits for pumps and more than one kit for the boxes.

Leak wise, try putting some P.S. Stop Leak in. The stuff by Lucas works pretty well.

He's using Transmission Fluid for the Power Steering because that is what the Owners Manual Says to use.

On the '97 it tells you to use MERCON.
