I'm sure I'll be asked...

I'm sure someone will think I get a kick back or something for referring this particular shop. Nope... couldn't be farther from the truth. They treated me excellent and I will continue to push their name and services. I spent a good bit of money there, but I feel like I got my $$ worth. Good customer service is a rariaty these days.

Hey Rich,
I have a Rancho lift on my '05.

Do you slightly feel the little bumps in the steering wheel at low speeds? If you let go of the wheel you see it move back and forth slightly?

You are correct about the ride, it's smooth...

Thanks in advance for the info.

At first...

At first I did and I wasn't happy with it. I took it back in and low and behold the front wheels were never re-balanced. They were very appologetic and couldn't explain why they missed it. No problem... they did the re-balance and NO whobble at all. I let go of the steering wheel and there is NO moving back and forth. I'd suggest taking it in and telling them the problem. Ask them to check the balance of the front & back wheels. Did you do the installation of the lift and wheels at the same time? What size tires & wheels?

Let me know if this helps?

Thanks,
Rich

Thanks Rich,
I bought the truck new from the dealer. It had the lift and tires and rims already installed. The tire were done last.

I have already set up an appointment.

I have Nitto 325/60-20 Terra Grapplers on Driv Sessnas.

Check it out, I don't have any good pics yet.....

The truck looks awesome, Rich

I just bought an '05 Screw 4X2, and am newcomer to this site.
I am impressed at what others have done to their trucks.
I, too, wanna begin with a few mods.

To all the people who have made changes, the issue of dealer warranties comes to minds. Don't alterations to the suspension as you've done, for example, or as something as simple as the Dynastar 2.5" kit (as I would like to do) give one pause as to how your dealer would react if a problem arises?
I would also wanna add a TrueFlow airkit, but shouldn't one wait for the warranty's expirations for beginning stuff like this?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Just went in....

I took my truck in for the stalling issues. They actually had a Ford Engineer visit the dealership to take a look at my truck. Nothing was said about my mods. I have the 35" tires with the 4" suspension kit and nobody mentioned anything. I also have the TrueFlow intake and again nothing was said. I think your warranty is only effected if the part you installed causes the problems. Best thing to do is maintain your vehicle and keep any and all service paperwork.

Good Luck with the new truck.... if it starts stalling... it probably needs a new throttle body. Maybe the problem has been corrected in the 05's?
