1" Lowered Springs for SuperCrew

You guys know where I can find a true 1" lowered spring for a 2003 F150 SuperCrew. The normal 1" lowered spring I see on the net all the time is for a single cab F150 but it will drop a SuperCrew 2" according to this chart I saw on the net.............Where can I get dropped spring that will only lower the SuperCrew front end 1"?

I don't have the answer for you, but I would advise calling Beltech directly and get their input. I think they are the premo lowering company around.

I'm looking to possibly do a 2/3 lowering job on my own '98 rig and am planning to go with Beltech hardware and then Edlebrock shocks.

Try Ford. I believe the Harley Edition Screws are lowered 1 inch over standard 4x2's by using a different coil spring.

HD or L springs will get you close, but the best bet is a 1" coil spring from Western Chassis. Bell Tech does not make a 1" coil.

I called the Ford dealer today and they told me I had to give them a spring code. There are different ones or something.

You might want to try another dealer. It shouldn't be that hard for any qualified Ford parts person to look up and give you a price, part number, etc. on the front coil springs for a 2001-2003 F-150 Harley Davidson Edition Supercrew.

Don't mess with the dealer. You can buy a used pair of either springs for $50 or less.

Could you do the same thing with the new body style fords? Just buy a set of HD springs and swap them out for the stock ones on my truck?

Nope, the suspensions are completely different and are not interchangable between old style and new style. Old style has coil springs and 2" or 2.5" wide leafs, the new style trucks have coil-overs in front and the rear leafs are either 3" or 3.5" wide.

No...what I was asking is if the 2004 HD F-150 (new body style) springs, would lower my 2004 F-150 (new body style) 1" in the front?

The 2004-05 HDs are in the F250 & F350 platforms.
