'04+ Rancho 4" Lift Kit...

Is there anyone here with this 4" lift installed (hopefully with pics)? I am considering this lift for my FX4. Wanted to see if anyone had any comments, pro's & con's, etc... I think that the 6" looks AWESOME, but my wife would kill me, if I put it up that high. She already has a hard enough time getting in the cab with a leveling kit! Thanks in advance!

Here. Not sure if thats 4 inches, I just guesstimated, but I would say its close. If I would have had some wheels I would have put some on.

Here ya go....

2004 Lariat with Rancho 4" full suspension lift. I've got Toyo 35/12.5/18 M/T's with Weld Wheels. It drives as smooth as it did stock. People can't keep their eye's off the truck.

6.2

The back spacing is 6.2 and is why I had to have custom wheel adaptors made. I didn't want to go with wheel adaptors, but that is the only way I could lift the truck using my wheel and tire combination. I didn't want a body lift.

Thanks for the compliment.....

6.2?

richgonfishn,
I'm new here, and like most am extreamly interrested in stuffing some 35's under my baby as well. I would appreciate it greatly if you could give a more in depth description on these wheel spacers which you've mentioned as well as any other helpfull specs you may have up your sleve for the 35 install. I'm looking to fit some radial claw's under mine but i'm alittle nervous about 35's with only a 2" leveler on the front. Like most I'm planning an a 6" lift in the near future and dont think i would be satisfied w/33's.
Any advise would be great, thanks in advance!

He has the 4 inch Rancho lift, not the leveling kit man. You don't need wheel spacers anyways in order to fit 35's with just the leveling kit. Just make sure you don't go overboard on the backspacing of your wheels, that is all you ahve to watch out for. He was saying he had to use the wheel spacers because his wheels were 6.2 bs, where as stock is 5.5. Most aftermarket are around 4.25-5.5, which is where the spacers probably corrected it to.

I got the 4 in to fit in my garage. I have an 84 in gareage and just squeeze through. I used to have different wheels but then I got some 35s with on my ford wheel.
