torsion bars

I am interested in raising my front end a bit without putting a spacer in. I think there is a way to do it by altering the torsion bars. If so, how do I do this?

The 04-05 F-150's don't have torsion bars. Only the 97-03 4x4 F-150's used the torsion bar suspension.
