Or is it like a cheap pair of shoes at walmart?

They'll still work, and do the same thing, its just paying for the name you like?

Does this have any truth to it?

I saw some at auto zone for like 30bucks. What about those? And then someone said that all Fords like the F150's and Expies have a deal where you can screw and adjust the height of the suspension wihtout any new parts. Any truth to this?

Thx

The 97-03 and 97-02 4x4 F-150 and Expeditions have torsion bar front suspensions which allow you to adjust the ride height a couple of inches. As for your other question, it sounds like you are talking about coil spring spacers. The cheap type that you wedge between the coils of the spring should not be used. They will destroy your springs. There is nothing wrong with quality coil spring spacers like the Daystar or Rev Tek spacers. I've had Daystar spacers on my Jeep since 2000 without any problems.
