What is a good lift kit

I have a 2001 Screw and would like to lift it. Whats a good recommendation. Looking at 3-4 inch lift, nothing too radical. Any help would be nice to steer me in a direction, thanks

well if its me i'd just to a body lift. which is 3inch. you can fit 35's or 315's which is looks good. you can get a body lift for $ 140.00. it really all depends what you want. but if your wanting around 3 or 4 inches. then i would stick with body lift and a torsin bar crank. but that just me...

well i got my lift from Summit Racing. which if i recall was around 140.00. i had my lift installed at a 4x4 shop. they charged 150.00 to put it on. which they done it in a day, so i was happy. just going to have to check around. at 4 Wheel part wholesalers they sell the lift and the put them on. check to see if there is one near you. they also sell tires so they might make a deal on a package. never know!! but thats all i really know about body lifts... never put one on. sorry im not that much help... but you will like the look!! later

$150 for in install sounds really cheap. I purchased a 3" body lift from 4 wheel parts and they said it would be around 400 to put it on. But I don't like the guys at my local 4 wheel parts because they are a**holes. That just isn't me that is everyone that goes in there. I would not suggest attempting this if you aren't mechanically inlcined. I installed a 3" body lift on my old 97 flareside standard cab. I did the lift with a buddy of mine. It took us a grand total of 22 hours to complete. But, everything that could go wrong did. Good luck!

i just bought my lift about a month ago and summit was the cheapest i could find. around $180 for a s'crew. shipped.
if you have any mechanical ability and can follow directions you should be able to put it on yourself.
shops around here want $100 an inch to install?????dont really understand 2" from 3" but hey. oh make sure you get a PA lift

Performance Accessories, It is the brand of the lift. They are pretty much the best ones around right now.

I saw your truck and liked the lift. I am mechanically inclined, used to build street race ready cars. Besides the body lift kit, was there any other modifications that needed to be done that did not come with the body kit? IE: wiring, brake lines, steering?

Everything you need to complete the body lift is included in the PA kit. It contains front and rear bumper relocation brackets, steering extension, fuel filler neck extension, etc.

Does anyone know how to handle a grill guard after the body lift? Obviously this would be 3 inches lower.

I have a guard on my truck and I have a PA 3" body lift. Had to fabricate some brackets and welded them to the top of the frame. Not really that big of a deal.
