Question Shifted axel...

Hello all, hope someone could give me some info.. I noticed that looking at my truck 2003 2wd screw from the rear, the left tire sticks out more than the right tire sticks out.. I did notice that the u bolts did not shift or slide but I did notice that the spacing between the u bolts and the leaf springs have shifted..
1) is this dangerous?
2) is it a do it yourself fix or should I take it to a bodyshop?

thanks

If your axle has actually moved then yeah, it could be dangerous. I don't think the body shop can do much for ya though, take it to a mechanic (preferably one that can do alignments too) let him look at it.

Good Luck
