I finally did it

I got my truck back from the shop today. I installed a fabtech 6" lift, 35/12.5/17 bfg mud terrain tires, a westin cps brush guard, and two kc daylighters. I could not be more happy except for the loss of power . Thanx for everyone's help especially bigtruck and wandell. Ill post pics if i can figure out how.

By the way it was a 2003 Fx4 supercrew.

Yup, you just took a huge chunk of power out of your truck. Keep in mind that your loss of power is exceeded only by your loss of braking ability. Read up on this site about upgrading your brakes before you run somebody over.

Congrats! That's exactly what I have planned for my truck, and I can't wait to get started. Is the power loss that noticable even with the 5.4? Can't wait to see some pics.

Congrats! Can't wait to see some pics. As far as braking, some better pads (like Hawk or EBC) and rotars would be a good start.

Thanx

The power loss is not too bad to drive but is noticable. I have the 5.4 with 3.73ls so anything less i probablly would be going to the gear shop right away. I definatley want to throw some 4.56's on there but need to find anther grand to do that. Im still working on some pics. Making heads turn everday, especially since i am only 17
