ball joints again?

I drive a 98 f150 4x4 Off Road. I can hear a clunk sound in the front end passenger side. I think it might be a ball joint problem. I bought after market rims and tires that are larger than stock about 1 year ago and I replaced the ball joints and cv boots about 6months ago. Other than the tires and rims the truck suspension is stock . Are there heavy duty ball joins i can install to compensate for the larger tires ? how can I stop this from happening again?

Thanks

I have never replaced ball joints and I usually get 200K out of my trucks. However I have replaced tie rod ends on every truck I've ever owned because the factory ones suck. I always get Moog brand and it's a permanent fix.

Are you sure it's your ball joints?
