Body Lift + A Leaf + Torsion

To Wandell and anyone else:

I put a 3" body lift, add-a-leaf in the rear, and cranked the torsion bars on a 98 ford f150 4x4 ..... Should I put new shocks on this truck or does it matter??? If so, which ones.... extended or standard?

I got a good 2" on the torsion after it settled.... and that's all the way.... Is this a bad idea?????

I am putting 35's with 17x9 on the truck!

Thanks, Scott

New shocks are never a bad idea, but they are not necessary. You do not need longer shocks if you do replace them.

Summit Racing is sending me pro comp shocks es3000 that show a fitament for 2-4 inches lift.... That is what the tech dept. said would fit.

Should I be buying stock height shocks??

Also, can the front end be aligned with the torsion cranked all the way 2"??

Thanks Wandell
