Anyone know anything about these shocks? This is supposed to be their top of the line and they can be had on ebay for about $35 per pair shipped.

 

Dunno about that model, but I've never had much luck with any Gabriel shocks. The last set I had only lasted about 6-8 months. I had bought them on sale at Pep Boys for about $40 per pair.

After that failed experiment, I went to a real parts store and bought Monroes for $75 per pair. Two years later and I now have Monroes on both my trucks. Reflex if you want a smoother ride, Magnums if you want the heavier work/ off-road shock. I wouldn't put Gabriels on my truck if you gave them to me.

Bilsteins also have an excellent reputation but I can't afford those.
