Alright, I did a search and found no information on how hard it is to change out the bushings on the rear leaf spring bushings. Would anyone happen to have done this before? I would appreciate some instruction. It looks easy enough but I was wondering if there were any tricks. Also what is a good brand to go with. I have herd bad things about polyurethane squeeking allot, so I will probably go with rubber.

If you have access to a press you can get them out easily. I don't know if the stock bushing has a center steel bushing then the rubber around that and then again another outer metal surface. If it does have this setup then even pressing them out is hard because the outer metal casing of the bushing is usually very thin. If you have this type then put a 1/4" bit in your drill and drill many holes (as many as possible) into the rubber all the way through. Then press what you can out with the press or the vise. To get the outer thinner ring out take a hacksaw blade and make a cut through it. You can then use a chisel and hammer to pound it out.
If it's just the rubber bushing and no outer casing then press the inner metal bushing out first then press then the rubber bushing out. Spray it up with a lot of silicone. Don't use WD-40 or other petroleum products because they cause the rubber to swell.
When you press the new bushings in press the rubber in first without the center metal bushing. Then press the metal center bushing into the rubber. I like synthetic grease on the new bushings.
