Front Lift

Like a lot of you I want to level my '04 SCab 4x4. I see two different lift kits mentioned in the forum: Daystar and Auto springs. I have a some of questions.

First: Does one kit have an advantage over the other?
Second: What will the lift do to front end alignment?
Third: Cost of the kits?

Thanks,

Terry

The only real advantage I see is that the Autospring kit is a lot easier to install. It bolts on top of the coilover assembly. The Daystar is a two piece spacer. Part of it installs on top of the coilspring, which requires the use of a heavy duty spring compressor. The second part bolts on top of the coilover assembley. Both kits will throw the alignmnent off slightly, so you will need a front end alignment after installation. I believe both kits are right around $100.
