best lift

who makes the best suspension lift?i've been lookin at the rancho 4",the fabtech 6"and the skyjacker 6".so far i like the skyjacker because it comes with rear springs instead of 6" blocks(which i'm not crazy about).i'm just wantin to know who has the strongest, most complete and best engineered kits.

I agree. Out of those, I'd say Fabtech is the best. It and the RCD 5 inch lift are probably the two best lifts for 97-03 F-150's.

You are a wealthier man than I. I can only offer my 2 cents, you have 2$ to give. J/K. Actually, I have not installed my lift yet, but as always ( because I am such a tightwad, I want the most formy money) I have done alot of research of suspension lifts to decide which one I want to go with, Everything I have run across has pointed me towards the Fabtech. The rancho would be my second choice, but it is a lot more $$$. And I see nothing about the kit to warrent that except for the brandname. So in short, if you do go with the Rancho, better take his 2 bucks, youll need it.

Lift

I talked w/FullThrottle.com....they are coming out with a 6" lift in April that is supposed to be the BOMB!!!! All they make now is a 10". I don't know how this compares to other brands though....I just heard that "Full Throttle" is supposed to be top notch.

OK, here is my 2 cents. Fabtech is the best on the market right now. They old up better then any other lift, they are built to last. As far as the block vs. springs debate. You can get the springs, but they are going to sag and quick. Then you will constantly be replacing springs about every year. It is totally up to you.

full throttle makes a good 10" lift but it is very pricy, the 6" they are making will be new and who knows if it will have problems go with what is tried and true, fabteck

As far as a 6" lift for 97-03 f150 the fabtech kit is the best.By the way it's spelled FABTECH not fabtek.

Dont now if anyone is still checking this thread but, I was by Parts4Trucks today to get a replacement 4" block for my rear-end, and loe and behold on the showroom floor sat a 16"lift kit by FTS for a 1997 F-150. Powdercoated blue and complete with a new set or leafs for the rear. I just wanted to STEAL IT. I would find a way to make it work on my 4x4.
