I'm inquiring if there is someone on this forum that could point me to a location where I can get the letter sent by Ford that came with the tie rod end inspection procedures for the F150 97 to 03.

If you you a website or have the letter you could foward I would appreciate it.

Hi Moe,

I don't have the letter anymore, I gave it to the dealership and they in turn checked and replaced all my tie rods under warranty.

From what I remember it wasnt a recall or anything, just a way for Ford to cover their *** in case anything happened.

I would think any reputable Ford dealer would have a copy of that letter for you to review.

I received the letter for my 2000 Expedition.

Gave it back to the dealer when I traded it in.

Never got a letter for my 03 F-150 Supercrew 5.4L

Habibi is correct . Any ford dealer should be happy to provide the letter

Do a search for "tie rod inspection" .

I found a post in the SuperCrew forum where a guy posted the letter.
