I have been having a steering wheel "shimmy" problem in my '98 F-150. We checked the idler and pitman arm, and wasn't them. But we did find the steering column shaft had a lot of play, and also a clunk in it. I am looking to replace it, but would like to find a heavier duty aftermarket shaft. Anyone know of any? Thanks for any help.
