Lifting F-150

I had a question about lifting a 1997 ford f-150 4x4...

Im planning on buying a 6" fabtech suspension lift and a 3" body lift. Then buy some rims and tires (35's or bigger)...So the question is ....How can I get the truck bigger than total of 9" of lift?

Thanks,
Daniel

Whiplash and Full Trottle Suspensions make larger lifts for F-150's (10 or 12 inches I believe). Personally, I wouldn't go that big with a 1/2 ton truck.

The larger tires will make it go bigger that the 9" from the lifts but I agree, why go that big with a 1/2 ton especially with the older 5.4 that had less HP.

I think 6" looks great on an F-150 but that is just my opinion.

i put a 6" fabteck lift 3" body lift, pro comp add a leafs and traction bars 2 1/2" and cranked the torsion bars all the way and i got about 11" of lift, with this combo you can run 38.5 by 15 with alittle triming of the front valance, if you got any more ? post em
