There are several options for a 2wd lift. Personally I would look at Fabtech as they orginally made lifts just for 2wd trucks.(Baja racing and such)

Fabtech and Pro Comp both advertise 6 inch lift kits for the 04 4x2 F-150's. I'm not positive, but since the suspension's are the same on the new 4x2's and 4x4's, I would think that you could use a 4x4 kit on a 4x2. I know this is the case with the 02-05 Chevy 2500 HD's. You could contact Skyjacker and Rancho and ask if their 4x4 lifts will work on your 4x2.
Also, welcome to the site!
