A little bit of lift and need some help

Im looking to lift my 2000 F-150 supercab with a body lift and want to install it myself. I know a little about cars but dont know whats all involved with a body lift because one guy told me i would need to know a lot but one said its not hard. I was wondering what else besides the spacers and bolts i would need to do. Also with the 17 rims what is the best size tires with goodyear wrangler mtr's any help would be appreciated. thanks

I took looked at the MTRs, IF you do mostly on road driving i would not recommend them since they wear quickly for such an expensive tire. I think they only make them in a 285/70 which is about 32.5 inches. THese are probably the biggest you can go with no lift. In the end I picked the MT Baja Radials, great tire and is also a 6 ply! They are heavier than the OEM 265s, but I have not noticed that much of a MPG difference.
As for a body lift, I have no first hand experience, but I have heard that it a lot of work, you have to extend the the fuel filler pipe and mess with the steering, have to take up the rug inside and I think you may alos have to remove the rear seats since you have a super cab.

A body lift is not that hard to install. It's just time consuming and tedious. Most of it is pretty straightforward.

it just takes alot of time, you have to do some drilleing on the bumpers, the feul fille neck is a pain to put the tube in and if you do any offroading i would get a longer hose instead, in the scab getting the seat out in the back is a pain and getting under the carpet is even worse, i ended up cutting my carpet with a razor just enough to get the bolt threw cuase it was pissing me off
