Question Energy Suspension Master Bushing Kit

Anyone know of a good place to order this kit? I tried Summit, but they show a backorder until 9/25/04!

Thanks!

I had trouble locating the energy suspension polyurethane control arm bushing kit for my 99' F150 4x2. So I called energy suspension at 1-949-361-3935. They helped me find a dealer in my state. They directed me to the National chain "4 Wheel Parts" and their physical location in my state. However, they have a website at www.4wheelparts.com They searched their national inventory and located a kit for me. Very good service.

I also tried Autozone, but they were backordered.

Are you talking just body bushings, or the control arm bushings/tie rod bushings/etc. as well? I didn't know they made a "master kit" for the new f-150's because theres only a few things that really use those bushings.
I've got the control arm bushings and body mount bushings sitting in my garage, waiting for the truck to get out of the paint shop so I can put them on... followed by a 6" lift, hee hee!

Thanks For the info.

Basically I want all of the replaceable suspension bushings. I just bought all new tie rods, lower ball joints, and upper a-arms. I fugured while I had the front end torn apart, I would replace the bushings too.

Right now my front end is real loose and I have a terrible squeak. I only want to tear it apart once!

Although, I am impressed with the results of my polyurethane control arm bushings, be aware that, eventually polyurethane bushings squeak alot! haha! There are red and black polyurethane bushings. Try to get the black urethane bushings that have silicone impregnated in them. This will reduce the eventual squeaks. I had to specifically ask for them, or they would have sent me the red version.

..........and installing the control arm bushings is a major pain. Your gonna need some way to remove the existing oem rubber bushing and inner sleeve WITHOUT moving the outer metal shell as it sets in the control arm.

I used a cheapo $15 butane torch to melt the rubber enough to allow me to use plyers and pull it out. I also had to get a ball joint removal tool from local auto store loan program, to press the new urethane bushings back in without moving the outter shell.

Gotta agree with ironhorse...I have the energy suspension bushings for my complete A arm and front sway bar applications and they squeak alot but its well worth it for my ride and rims and tires....
