camber adjusting bolts...options?

OK, I've been dealing with a front end that does not want to stay aligned after being lowered. I bought some Fabtech camber adjusters, but they've managed to get quite tweaked after a couple of alignments and 3 of the eight washers are really not functional.

What other places sell these? Part numbers would be great. Also...these are stock on some models, right? So maybe even a salvage yard would have factory adjusters?

Please advise, and thanks.

I've read that NAPA sells camber kits for our trucks.

According to the Ford dealership I went to, the washers are different for the 2003 model. What worries me about the set I bought is they actually say "shim" on the package. Anyway, maybe this weekend I will try to install them and see if they work. Also, I don't think these came standard on any vehicles, and the complete set only costs about $50. If you have an '03 I can post the part numbers they sold me when I get home.

You won't find them on junk trucks unless they had alignment issues. Used ones aren't worth the time and effort. Ford sells them and I think the quality is a bit better than the NAPAs. For those who wonder what they look like:

Yeah, the Fabtech ones I bought were about $45 plus shipping. I remember shopping around for them and the parts guy at the Ford dealership was able to find them in the parts guide, but then said that they were not for my 2001 application.

DUH, I know that they were not "stock" on my vehicle. He went on further to tell me that since they were not stock, then they'd not work on my truck. Guess he wanted me to pay them to fiddle around finding the right rectangular "plate" adjusters with an overprice alignment job.

Anyway, so I know that they are available through Ford, just guessed that maybe they were stock on some models. Mike, any part numbers would be helpful...Ford, Napa, whichever. Maybe I can then find them on-line.

Thanks again,
Jeff
