Fabtech 6" lift

The advantages to using this lift is that the stock wheels can be used. But the technical information also states that a 4 5/8 offset wheel is required with some trimming. What is the the requirement. I am running 285/75/16 on the stock wheels and stock suspension.

I went to a local offroad shop where i got a quote for the fabtech lift, tires, and install and they said that i could run this lift with my stock wheels. I then went to 4 wheel parts where they said that i could not run this tire with this lift due to the offset. I was jsut asking you if you knew if i could or if i couldn't run this lift with a stock wheel. I have a feeling that 4 wheel pats was just trying to make more money off of me. Any help would be appreciated.

The tires will work with stock rims and the 6" fabtech. I ran with
35" nitto terra graps and stock 18" until the lift bug hit.. good luck

Thank You

I figured that 4 wheel parts was just trying to make extra money saying that my stock 17's wouldn't fit without wheel spacers, which they wont install. They wanted my to purchase $1000 worth of rims, even though i told them i have seen the lift with the stock rums.

My experience with 4WPW is that most of the salespeople don't know their a$$ from a hole in the ground. If you have any questions, call Fabtech and ask them - or visit their website.
