Hey, guys im going to replace my lower ball joints because they are shot. But i figured while i was down there i would replace any worn out tie rods I came across.....

The problem is Im not exactly sure what the best way to check them is any help would be great.

 

Check for up and down movement and twist all the way forward or back...pull back rubber dust cover and check for corrosion ,rust or water come from them this would indicate worn and possible failureand should be replaced.any play which can produce by hand should be replaced .
