little lift on the 2wd

this's the 3rd weeks i own my 1st f150, 1997 ext 2wd, 4.6 auto.
i would like my truck to sit higher on the ground, 2" or 3 " above the normal 2wd. where can i get the lift for it and how hard to put it on.

i'm not going to change the tires and wheels size since i'm not going to use it offroading.(stock tires 235/70/16) how do i make the wheels stick out more by using the stock wheels too?

thanks

simon

You can lift the front 2 inches by installing Daystar coil spring spacers or lift coils. You can lift the front 3.5 inches with lifted spindles. The best choice to increase your track width is to install wider wheels. You could use wheel spacers, but they have a bad reputation. They increase the stress on your suspension and steering components.
