Noisy Powersteering after offroading??

Noisy Powersteering after offroading??
I have an 03 kr supercrew and after going offroad I end up with my powersteering being very noisy. It seems to whine for a couple hours after words and stops. Has anyone experienced this problem and what could this be?

I have not taken my F150 XLT off road, but my Bronco II whined really bad after pump replacement. I off road monthly with it, and the noise finally went away. It is most likely air in the lines. Check you level too. You must be wheeling it hard!
