Angry Suspension Squeaking

My 99 F-150 4x2 with 66k miles squeaks under breaking and when I turn right. I thought it needed some lube in the grease fittings but I can't find where any grease fittings are. Supposedly it is lubed for life- so do I have a different problem?

If the noise is coming from the front end, go to a parts store and get a needle for your grease gun. Then, carefully insert the needle between the joint boots and the joints. Inject as much grease as you can. Squeaks and pops will go away immediately.

There is no such thing as a maintenance free battery or lifetime lubed joints.

If the noise is coming from the rear end, try hosing down your leafsprings with WD-40.

Hope this helps!

My 2000 had a squeaking which was cured by lubing the sway bar bushings (by the dealer under warrentee). Heard it going over bumps and sometimes when braking. I don't know what he used exactly but do know it was a Snap-On product, if that helps. This was 2 years ago, and it hasn't come back. Same thing on my son's Ranger - same cure and same result. Hope that helps.
