Better Ride....

Well basically i have no idea what to do. I have been trying to setup a plan for what i am going to do in my truck...i have acomplished a few things..
sound system
exhast
cold air intake (just ordered it)
repainting all the trim
I ordered regular billet grill...and bumper grill. but other than that i am dead.
I have some pro comp all terrains i believe they are 31 inches give or take. And waitin till chrismas to wrap them around some American racing baja style rims.
other than that i got nuthin...but i do have 2 ideas.

Spray bedliner and new suspension...that leads us to my thread LOL
Basically i want a better ride in my truck and i wanna know how to do it. Without spending 2 grand.
Any iders?
its a 97 XLT Crewcab(back in the day Supercrew LOL) with the 4.6 L v8 2wd with the tow package. Nothin too special.

i dont want the truck to lower ro raise at least not too much. Inch at the most in either direction.

I like the normal height of the f150 so nothing too drastic....blah blah blah look at me ranting...lol just let me know if you gots and ideas....thankz soo much

If you like the factory height and springs, a good place to start is with performance shocks and a matching set of front and rear anti-sway bars.

If you shop around and don't go wild, about $500. If you go wild and use top of the line shocks and Hotchkis anti-sway bars, you could spend $800.

I'm kind of curious how you have a 97 Supercrew considering they didn't come out till about 2000.

Anyhow like others have said the best money you'll spend on ride quality will be good shocks. Most people go with Bilsteins or Edelbrocks or Ranchos. Many people like the Rancho RS9000s since they're adjustable so you can get a soft ride unloaded and then turn them up for when you're towing or hauling a load.
