Looking for some new shocks

I'm looking for some new shocks for my '99 F-150. She doesn't off road much, I'm looking for something with a decent ride. Something to take these Washington Highway speedbumps with ease.

If it makes a difference, I have oversized tires, I beleive they are 185's but don't quote me on that. Other than that, the suspension is stock. I've had a few people recomend Rancho shocks but I'm open to pretty much anything.

Also, my truck has 90k miles. Please tell me upgrading the shocks now is justified.

Upgrading shocks would have been justified at around 9 miles. (yes, I meant nine)

As for this subject, prepare yourself. If 20 people reply, you will have 20 different recommendations. Everyone has their favorites based on 'recommendations' (go figure) and personal experience. Sorry.

But, since you asked, I recommend Edelbrocks. On my second set (lifted and pre lifted) and absolutely love them. Couldn't believe a shock would make that much of a difference. Bilsteins are also very excellent and well recommended. Can't go wrong either way.

I'm with Galaxy. I have Edelbrocks on mine and its night and day compared to stock. Followed up with Bilstein.

Any quality shock would be a huge upgrade over 90K factory shocks. I used the Rancho RS9000s on my 2000 F-150 because I like to pick my own settings and crank up the rears during towing/hauling.
