Air Ride Comfort?

I was thinking of getting an air ride system/setup installed on the new truck I'm getting (2000 F150 Flareside) and I was wondering how the ride would be. Would I be able to tell the difference between the stock setup and an air ride setup? So if anyone has an air ride on their truck (or car?) could you just tell me how you like the comfort of the ride and if it's worth it to get one installed.

Thanks in advance...
