Question will this lift work on my truck

i found a lift on ebay that i'm really interested in but it says it is only for the V8 engines. i was wondering if anyone knew what could be different in the lift for my V6? or if anyone had one on their V6 and knew what changes I would have to make? thanks for any info guys. you can see the lift on ebay right here

I can't view the link because work won't let me look at ebay, but let me offer this advice. When wanting to make a change to your vehicle's suspension, do it right. Buy the proper kit from a reputable manufacturer. Do not try to retrofit a kit that doesn't belong on your vehicle. If you do modify a V8 kit, at best you wonder when it'll break when driving around. At worst it causes damage or death to you, your wife, and/or someone else. I hate to pull the "grim reaper" line but it's the truth. Even if you have to wait to have it done right, do it. You'll be much happier in the end.

Again, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I hope it's somewhat constructive. I'm getting off my soapbox now.

By the way, I don't know what specific difference is, although I'm sure it deals with location of parts.

Get the model number and check it out on the Trailmaster site, see if they say that it will work.

I would suggest that the shocks and springs are set for the weight of a V8 and would be too stiff for the V6. As suggested I would contact trailmaster and find out why they only offer the lift for the V8.
