RS9000X's for a 2WD?

Anyone have Rancho RS9000X shocks on their 97-03 2WD F-150? I went to 4wheelparts and they told me ide have to notch something in oder for them to fit because of the adjuster *** getting in the way. Anyone got them?

I had them on my 2000 2-wheel drive F-150. They bolted right on with no notching of anything. The rear adjusters are in a wide open area and the front ones had just enough room to put your fingers in the lower control arm shock mounting area and adjust them. I bought them at 4wheelparts and they said nothing.
