the straight and narrow
the straight and narrow
hey all
i just got back from a road trip with my 97 f150. i bumped into some wind along the way and i could'nt belive how much effort it took to keep the thing straight!
i hear about others having the same problem in wind. i know lifting my truck and bigger tires only made things worse. anybody got a fix that makes a real world difference, shy of taking off the lift and tires.
my truck is a 4x4, with the 8.8 in the rear. i have add-a-leave in the rear and have adjusted my torsion bars up front pretty far. i have a superlift 5.5 inch kit along with a 3" body lift, all riding on 37 x 12.50 ssr's (i cant wait to get them off - real paint shakers)
i also put poly bushings everywhere (worth it) i would like to take off my add-a-leaves and stick a rear sway bar in but i tend to think removing the leaves would tend to add a tad of sway? anybody got some ideas, what about longer connecting links for the rear sway bar?? thanks for looking
