I don't have any experience at all in this area. Can someone tell me if there are any draw backs to doing this (like how it affects the vehicle, etc.)?
Would a 2" lift be less complicated than a 3"?
Please lend me your knowledge.

If you're gonna do it, go for the 3".
As long as you you do it right you shouldn't have any probs. Just take your time and get a few friends to give you a hand.
