Suggestions and photos for 3.5in lift?

I was looking at getting a Fabtech 3.5 lift on my 2000 2WD 5.4 supercab but not sure how it would look...also not sure if I should go with a spindle lift or a full suspension lift. Do they both make the truck look the same, and how much different is the ride on the suspension lift? I have the stock 3.55 rear and not sure if I need to change out the gears with a 3.5 lift. I also just bought 265/75/16 BFG AllTerrains for the stock setup and wondering how small they will look with the 3.5 lift, or if I need to get bigger tires. If so, how big?

I also was wondering if anyone had photos of their trucks with a 3.5 in lift.

I would like a bigger lift if I could afford it, but I KNOW I'd have to invest in rims and tires (and gears) as well.

Any suggestions about my whole dilemma?? I'm doing this for looks mostly but do tow ocassionally and like to play in the mud from time to time :-)

I have a 98 4.2 v-6 5 spd running the 3.5 fabtech spindle lift and 3" body lift on a set of 285/75/16 with 4:11's gears in the pumpkin. And it does fine. Puts out rite at 220 hp. I also have the Fabtech desert gaurd on the truck look s awesome. I got steal on it 300 bucks form 4wheelparts and more.

Iwould start with the 3.5" spindle lift cuz it is the base of most suspension systems. Another nice thing is the price. You do not need to get new shocks and your truck still rides like stock only higher. Save up for a suspenions system and rims/tires. Check out picks of my truck that has the 3.5 spindle and 265/75R16 tires. Check out the ones with the stock rims.

Go with the spindle lift they are very easy to install and still keep the factory install. I went with Fabtech's 3.5 and was able to clear 285/75/16 with minor fender trimming. It makes the ride sweet looking also.

www.Performancelifts.com has them for $439 I think shipping is currently free
