Leveling my 2004 F-150 by lowering rear

OK another question.....I keep hearing about people removing the 2 inch riser blocks or spacers out, but most say they have FX4's or 4X4's........I just have 2004 4X2 XLT......do these also have the spacers in them? If so where are they located? I measured from the front wheel well to the tire and its 5 1/2 inches.....the back is 8 inches so if I leveled it 2" in the rear it would look much better I think. Thanks in advance!!!

Unfortunately, your 4x2 does not have the 2" lift blocks, so you'll need to play drop shackles or something else.

I just removed my lift blocks this weekend to get the rear-end back down closer to stock. I had the leaf springs upgraded earlier for my camper and the rear-end was too high due to the stiffer springs.

It was pretty easy but a 2nd person was needed to jack the rear end back up while I aligned the spring & axle plate.

It looks very nice now and drives so much better with the stiffer rear-end.
