RMX Monotube?

Anyone use the RMX Monotube shocks that Les Schwab sells? What did ya think about them?

Thinking about replacing the shocks on my S'Crew, and they have a pretty good price on these.

OK..... After doing some research, and talking to the LS guys, and went ahead and had them install the RMX Monotubes on my 03 SCrew 4x4.

The shock is actually a re-badged Gabriel Max Control Monotube for LT's and SUV's.

The ride is a little firmer, and the handling is much better (notably less body-roll when cornering). The shocks take road hits MUCH smoother than the stockers, and the truck is not bouncy-springy anymore going up my pot-hole infested dirt road. My truck rides/handles better off-road now than my Bro's F150 with the O-R package OEM shocks.

They were about $300 installed, life time warranty too. I'd recommend checking them out if youre in the market for new shocks.

Glad te hear you like the monotubes. I work for Les Schwab and have installed many sets. My store has only had a handfull come back in 3 years we've been carrying them. Some people don't like them at first because they are more firm than stock but after they drive on them a while they love em.

Heh... yup. So far so good, I'm quite pleased with the improvement. They definitely feel different than OEM, so I can see where some people might trip a little. I was expecting a substantial difference, so I wasnt surprised at all.
