Torsion Bar Crank

I have a 2004 Heritage edition F-150 4X4 Triton 4.6L Ext. Cab. I plan to lift it 6" w/ Fabtech's kit one day, but not any time soon. For now, I just want to level it out and run some bigger tires and rims.

I know how to crank the torsion bars, I did it to my old 2000 Ranger before. My question is, what size tires can I run? I want bigger, but don't want to look too stuffed. I'm pretty sure I can fit Lt305/70R16's but bigger?

Thanks

305/70 16's will fit just fine, but depending on the rim width, you may have to trim a little off the front valance. I have 16X10's and had to trim a little.

Thanks for the info. I'll be going w/ some Lt305/70R16 BFG TA/KO's and probably 16X8's. I don't really want the tires to hang out the side too much right now w/o a suspension lift. Now if I can just decide on which rim to go with. I had Mickey Thompson's on my Ranger and liked them, but it was basically one of very few rim options I had. There's just so many for the F-150! Your SCrew looks great, good job.

Thanks,
