twin I beam

i know the twin i beam is no longer used on the 150 or ranger,is it still used on super duty 4x2 and E-series vans? does the twin i beam suspension suck? i always liked it,although i liked the original back when the radius rods were forged just like the beams.

Thumbs up

I'm not sure if Ford uses the twin I-beam on anything anymore. It started in the mid sixties, and they used it forever..... I do have an 86 E-150 with it, and I don't mind it at all. Pretty nice ride, and decent handling for a top heavy 5300 pound vehicle. Doesn't suck, it's just outdated technology?,,,,98
