alignment questions

firts off, is there a reccomended interval to get an alignment for a 97 4x4? when i put new shocks on will that require an alignment? TIA.

Tire Wear

Tire wear is a good indicator of whether you need an alignment or not. Also, if your truck isn't tracking right. As for alignment after new shocks, unless you increased the length of the shocks, you shouldn't need an alignment.

Check your tires, if they look to have uneven wear, have your alignment checked.
