Body Lift & Grill Guard

All,

I was thinking about a body lift, however, I have a grill guard. Is it possible to work around this or do I have to lose the grill guard to do the body lift?

Yes, you have to lose the brush guard...

Kidding, kidding.

Any competent fabricator should be able to mock up an adapter to span the new difference from the body to the frame. Now, keep in mind that it probably won't have the strength or rigidity that it had before the lift. But the brush guards really aren't meant to handle much more than... well... brush. It should look just fine.

Good luck. I know of a guy here in Wylie that could probably do it for you, he's very good, but pricey, and I'm sure you can find somebody more local to you to save the time and gas.
