PA 3" body lift

I am going to put a performance accessories 3" body lift on my 1997 f150 2wd reg cab flareside. How big of a job is this? Can a couple buddies and myself have this done in a day? Has anyone used this kit? How did you like it? was there anything not in the kit that you had to go out and get?

Depending on tools and condition of the truck it can be done in a day, but plan for it to take longer just in case. I had to go out and get some extra bolts for the body mounts, but that cause of my own screw up.

It really depends on 3 things:

1) How familiar you are with your 97 F150
2) Do you have the right tools? Or will you be travelling back and forth to the garage 50 time for one bolt?
3) How rusty is your baby?

It can be done in about 12 hours. But thats with all the right tools right next to you and the experience of someone who knows F-150s and body lifts. Otherwise, leave time to get it done over a weekend. Say, start Friday after work, work all day Saturday if possible, and then you still have Sunday for any problems you might encounter that prolong the process. It's not difficult and Perf. Accessories has the best instructions available. Still, it takes time, whether you are a novice or professional. Good luck!
