pop in steering column 2002 4x4
I occaisiionally hear a popping sounds in my steering column while turning at low speeds. 2002 Supercab 4x4... Has anyone else had this problem and what is wrong?

It may be either a U-joint or it may be part of the safety system that causes the column to collapse upon impact during a collision.
As a 2002 is most likely under warranty, I would suggest taking it to a dealer for checkout. If it is out of warranty, then there are addditional checks that can be made.
