Good Lift Kit?

Can anyone help me with this?.... I am looking for any information I can get regarding lift kits. I have a 2002 XLT 4x4 and I want to get a 3" suspension lift. Has anyone else done this, and if so what brand to you recommend?.....

Thank you,

Nobody makes a 3" suspension lift for a 4x4. The lowest anyone makes is a 4". You can however get a 3" body lift, but if you have the cash get the suspension lift.

Powerstoke is right. It depends on what you use the truck for. If you just want looks and rarely or never go off road, a body lift is fine. If you are gonna off road the truck hard, get a suspension lift. Fabtech's 6inch, RCD's 5 inch and Rancho's 4 inch seem to be the most popular suspension lifts for F-150's.

Thank you

Thank you for your comments.

I only take my truck on the beach and through snow. Not that extreme... So you are suggesting a body lift?

For what you want, a body lift should be fine. I love mine, but I don't off road my truck like Powerstroke does.
